Authors guidelines

The text of the article should be written on a computer in A4 format, in the Word editor (font - Times New Roman, font size - 12pt, spacing - 1; margins - standard, the text is justified in width, indent of the first line of the paragraph - 1cm). The article must be submitted both in paper and electronic form (on CD, file format - Microsoft Word 2010, file name is determined by the name of the first author).

Accepted as material for publication. original articles (scientific materials on research results), review articles (in-depth and detailed review and discussion of morphological changes that occur in a particular disease), brief information, conference materials in Azerbaijani, Russian, English.

The title part should indicate: in the first line the title of the article (font - size 12pt, bold, capital letters; spacing - 1), in the second line the surname of the author (s), initials (font - font size 12pt, spacing - 1), in the third line the institution(s) where the author(s) works, in the fourth line the address(es) of this institution(s) and the author(s) e-mail.

Each article indicates the UDC index (Universal Decimal Classification) or PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) type codes.

After the title part, a structured summary of 200-250 words (size 12 pt, spacing - 1) should be noted (noting the scientific novelty, purpose of the work, methods, results, conclusion) both in the language of publication and in two other languages. Abstracts of the article in different languages must be identical to each other and correspond to the content of the article. A summary from a scientific and grammatical point of view should be strictly edited. Each abstract must include the title of the article and the full name and surname of the author or authors.

After the resume, you should specify up to 5 keywords (font - size 12pt, spacing - 1)

 

Original articles should be 10-15 pages long, including title, abstract, text, bibliography, tables and figures. Articles should have the following sections: "Introduction", "Materials and Methods", "Research Results and Discussion", "Conclusion", "References".

1.  Introduction.

In this section, the relevance of the study is noted and in the end it is necessary to formulate the main goal of the work (for articles on the results of the study).

2.  Material and methods.

This section should provide information about the object of study, the sample under study, inclusion /exclusion criteria, research methods and processing of the received digital data. Be sure to specify the criteria for the distribution of research objects into groups. It is necessary to describe in detail the equipment used and the diagnostic equipment, indicating its main technical characteristics, the names of the sets for hormonal and biochemical studies, indicating normal values for individual indicators.

When using generally accepted research methods, it is necessary to provide appropriate literature references.

If the article contains a description of experiments on animals and/or patients, it should be indicated whether their procedure met the standards of the Ethics Committee of the Helsinki Declaration of 1975 and its revision in 1983.

3.  Research results and discussion.

In this section, the results obtained should be illustrated with visual materials (tables, pictures).

 

The information given in the tables and figures should not be repeated in the text, only important information should be summarized and noted. The data obtained in the research should be compared with other research in this field and discussed on this basis. However, inaccurate, unsubstantiated information and conclusions that are not fully substantiated by the facts should not be used. The information already given in the "Introduction" section of the article should not be repeated here. Reasonable recommendations can be given in this section.

4.  Conclusion.

This section can be written either in the form of a general conclusion or in the form of concretized conclusions, depending on the specifics of the article.

5. References.

At the end of the text, a " Reference" should be indicated, consisting of 10-15 sources for original articles, up to 30 for review articles (font 12, spacing 1). Preference in the of references should be given to scientific articles, monographs and other reliable sources of the last 5-10 years. There should be links to scientific sources related to the topic of the article. Reference literature should be numbered in the order they are mentioned in the text (for example, [1] or [1, p. 119]). If the same literature is cited again elsewhere in the text, then the cited literature is indicated by the same number.

Information about each reference given in the bibliography must be complete and accurate. The bibliographic description of the cited source should be indicated depending on its type (monograph, textbook, scientific article, etc.). When referring to scientific articles, materials or abstracts of symposiums, conferences and other prestigious scientific events, it is necessary to indicate the title of the article, report or thesis. When providing a bibliographic description of the cited source, the requirements of the "Literature used" section of the current instruction of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan should be taken as a basis. Links to unpublished sources are prohibited.

 

When compiling a list of references, the following requirements should be considered:

References to multi–volume publications should be indicated: Author (surname, initials).

Name of the work: [number of volumes] / Author's initials, surname. – city: publishing house, – volume number. – year of publication. – pages.

References to publications of one author should be indicated: Author (surname, initials) Title of the work / Author (initials, surname). – city: publishing house, – year of publication. – pages.

References to multi–author publications should include: Surname, initials of the first author, title of the work / Authors (initials, surnames); – city (if there are two cities, both must be indicated): publishing house, – year of publication. – pages.

References to journal articles with up to 3 authors should be indicated: Author's surname, initials, title of the work // – city: name of the magazine, – year of publication, volume number, magazine number, pages.

References to dissertations and their abstracts should indicate: Author (surname, initials).

Tables and figures.

Tables, black and white and color figures with appropriate explanatory captions and are placed in the text after the first reference to them. Table names are printed with 1 spacing, font size 12, table text with 1 spacing, font size 11.

Figures must be submitted in jpg format. All designations in the figure must be deciphered in the caption to it. The title of the figures (interval 1, font 12) and captions to them (interval 1, font 11) are given after they are posted.

Figures and tables are numbered with Arabic numerals in the order in which they are mentioned in the text.

 

Articles will be recommended or submitted for publication by one of the expert members of the editorial board after confidential review by anonymous reviewers. At the end of the article, the surname (in full) of the member of the editorial board who submitted it for publication, his academic title, academic degree are indicated. In case of refusal to publish the submitted article, the editorial board of the periodical scientific publication sends the author a reasoned response in writing.

The editorial staff of the journal, in response to requests from the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will submit a review of the requested article.

The author(s) must fill out a questionnaire reflecting their consent to the publication of the article, information that the submitted article has not been previously published (with the exception of the version of the article published in the form of a thesis), that the version of the article in any language was not sent simultaneously to other scientific periodicals, and information about the institution where the research work related to the article was carried out. The questionnaire must be signed by the author(s) and submitted to the editor.

 

Articles will be checked for plagiarism and will not be published if such facts are found.

 

The first page of the manuscript must contain the visa of the head of the organization or department, and the last page must be signed by all authors. Published articles will be posted on the journal's website (www.jtcem.az) and will be assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
