The purpose of the work is to compare the relationship between somatotypes classified according to the scheme I.B. Galant-B.A.Nikityuk-V.P.Chtesov and somatotypes classified according to the scheme M.V.Chernorutsky. For this purpose 755girls aged 16-20 were studied by classical anthropometry. We conducted and analysis of the somatotype classification of 16-20 year old girls examined according to the M.V.Chernorutsky scheme adopted in practical medicine. According to this scheme, aestenic, normosthenic and hypersthenic body types are distinguished. According to our evidence, normosthenic somatotype was predominant among girls aged 16-20 years (43,3%), in 35.6 % of cases –hypertensive, in 21.1%-aestenic type. We also analyzed the correspondence of the divisions in the constitutional groups according to the schemes of M.V. Chernorutsky and I.V. Galant-B.A. Nikityuk-V.P.Chtesov. According to the evidence obtained, the mesoplastic somatotype (54.5%) predominated among women of normosthenic (M.V.Chernorutsky scheme) body type according to the I.V.Galant-B.A.Nikityuk-V.P.Chtesov scheme, and relatively rare cases-indeterminate (20.2%) constitutional group, subatletic (14.4%) and athletic (10.9%) somatotypes were found. Among girls aged 16-20 with a hypertensive body structure, picnic (40.2%) and Europlastic short (38.3%) somatotypes predominated, while girls with europlastic height (15.6%) somatotype and indeterminate (5.9%) were representatives of the constitutional group. Among girls with aestenic body type, stenoplastic somatotype prevailed
(71.7%), and somatotypes with aestenic naroow bone (21.1%) and aestenic wide bone (7.2%) prevailed.
