In the study were studied changes in the cytochemical status of platelets depending on the duration of ischemia. The research work was conducted on 70 nonlinear rats in three groups: Group I - control (intact state), group II - 5 minutes and group III -15 minutes after of ischemia against the background ischemicreperfusion injury (IRI) of the liver model.
In order to evaluate the changes in platelets, were prepared blood smears taken on the 5th, 10th and 15th days after IRI of the liver. The amount of succinate dehydrogenase (SDG), nicotinamide-adeninedinucleotide phosphate oxidase (NADPhO), myeloperoxidase (MPO), acid phosphatase (AcPh), alkaline phosphatase (AlPh), glycogen (GL) and phospholipids (PhL) in platelets was determined by cytochemical methods.
The obtained results showed that there are serious changes in the function of platelets after the IRI of the liver: in addition to the changes in the activity of SDG, NADPhO and AcPh, TF, QF significant changes are observed in the cytochemical indicators of PhL and GL, which play an important role in the formation of the cell structure. These changes had the same directional nature and their intensity was manifested depending on the duration of ischemia. The most serious changes in cytochemical parameters of platelets in the hepatic IRI occur after long-term ischemia, and they are informative criteria for the diagnosis of hepatic IRI. Also, there are theoretical grounds for adding drugs that serve to normalize the level of the mentioned enzymes to the treatment plan of the liver ischemia-reperfusion syndrome.
