Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a common autoimmune disease, leading to progressive destructive joints, lowering and lowering the patient's quality of life, as early diagnosis and inadequate therapy. RA's modern laboratory diagnosis is based on the definition of broad spectrum biomarkers. Among these biomarkers, the study of the prototype of antimicrobial peptides is of particular interest. Antimicrobial and antiproliferative action, acting as a regulator in the inflammatory processes of calphotectin produced by granulocytes and macrophages.
